Bringing our authentic self to the world can be challenging at times. Who we think we are and how we feel inside can be worlds apart. Often, keeping these feelings and thoughts to ourselves is necessary in the world however, when to reveal ourselves then becomes a scary prospect and we begin to create fear around how we are seen.
Consider this, when we reveal ourselves from a place of vulnerability, others have a chance to experience who we truly are. We begin to take form and the boundaries and principles that create our personality depict an outline of us as a unique and living being. Revealing how we feel and think can feel enormously risky at times but if we muster the courage to bring this to the ones we love, we lay a ground of safety and trust that has the potential for deep rooted relationships that will create support and connection for a long time.
